I was so excited to read this book and do this interview. It’s been years since someone has brought forward the trials and politics of Lyme Disease. I read Mary Beth’s book in one day, scouring for new information and hoping there had been a change. There hasn’t. We are still stuck in the same place when it comes to doctor’s awareness of Lyme (I did know this, but was hoping I’d find a glimmer of hope). The biggest news is that Lyme is spreading, and fast! We will all be in an endemic area in the next 30 years, and yet we still are ignoring this illness!
