The Circadian Code with Satchin Panda » Listen

Date: October 8, 2018

Episode Description

There is a symphony of complex systems going on in our body and in our organs that are taking care of us.  Satchin Panda is discussing how to take care of these systems, and work at an optimal cicadian rhythm for your body, and why it’s so important.

Dr. Risk’s Thoughts

Everyone that comes into my office has some sort of disharmonious pattern with their circadian rhythm. Our society has encouraged us to burn the candle at both ends, and stay up late, get up early and push ourselves to the limit. After battling a chronic illness, I learned that it’s important to take me time, go to bed on time and respect what my body is asking for. At the same time, not everyone sees this as a value yet, and we still need to make a commitment to ourselves to value our downtime and de-stress.
