Episode Description
The results of a concussion can be devastating. Brain injuries can lead to life long changes in areas of control of judgment, inhibition, impulse control, mood and memory. What can we do after a concussion to heal the trauma, and recover from the injury? Dr. Dan Engle is talking about his book “The Concussion Repair Manual.”
Dr. Risk’s Thoughts
Having suffered from a concussion myself, I felt it was important to discuss this topic. I am amazed how it is often ignored, and people are sent home without much help. Most people want to do more, and recover faster, especially when it comes to brain injuries. Dan’s book is full of great tips, and after the airing I started to recommend the float tanks.
