Falling Through the Cracks: Feel alive and thrive

Mercury Maddness » Listen Now

Episode Description

Dental work can have detrimental effects on our health, but is often the last thing we think about when something goes wrong. Amalgam or ”Silver” fillings are 50% mercury and can cause various health problems associated with mercury exposure, including neurological symptoms, fatigue and weakened immunity. Over the years we have put trust in our dentists, not realizing the effects it has had on us. Leo Cashman will help us learn how to take charge of our dental health, from choosing a qualified mercury-free, mercury-safe dentist, choosing the best replacement materials and safe detoxification methods.

Dr. Risk’s Thoughts

Although every part of my journey had difficulties, my metals is still up there at the top.  Dental sessions are always traumatic for me, as my metabolism speeds through the freezing quickly and I don’t freeze.  Not only was I sitting in the dental chair listening to the drill, I could feel him dig through my filling.  Later, my body started to detox the metals and I struggled for over a month to recover from two simple filling removals.  I am glad I did it though, as it was so important to minimize my exposure to toxicity, and both fillings were cracked and leaching.  It is rare that a chronic illness doesn’t incorporate metal treatment.  I hope this show brings more awareness to this issue that is often ignored.
