Episode Description for “E-motion“
After a health journey of his own, movie director Frazer Bailey set out to share the information he learned in his documentary “E-Motion”. No matter the health problem, we cannot avoid being affected by our emotions, and sometimes they get stored in our bodies causing us physical symptoms. In this interview, Dr. Risk and Frazer Bailey discuss what toxic emotions look like, and how you can process them.
Dr. Risk’s Thoughts
There is not one of us that is not touched by an emotional experience, this is what makes us human. The problem is when the emotions start to impede our health and we don’t know what to do! In my own health journey, I had to approach the physical, which was debilitating Lyme, but I also had to approach the emotional. Sometimes it’s just what has affected us while we are sick, but more often it is emotions that are tied in from our childhood, and part of being human. What I love is that this movie shows more than one way to work on emotional pain, as with physical pain, each person has a different journey and needs something different than the next person to work through their “stuff”.
